Arizona is known for its beautiful weather almost year round, making it one of the best states to have a wedding in, especially if you are looking to have an outdoor wedding surrounded by nature. As an Arizona wedding photographer of 13+ years, I’ve photographed many beautiful weddings all across the state. It is home to an amazing array of wedding venues in Arizona. If you’re looking for a wedding venue for your celebration, particularly an outdoor nature wedding venue, I’ve got you covered here! We have beautiful desert venues, yes, but did you know that we also have some fantastic barn venues, wineries, forest wedding venues with pine trees, dude ranches, luxury resorts, industrial warehouses and art galleries, local breweries, gardens and lots of beautiful farms? So many of our wedding venues in Arizona are super unique. I dare you to find a more diverse state to hold your wedding in.
Here are four of my favorites:
el chorro wedding venue:
Rich tradition, culinary excellence, and unparalleled romance come together at El Chorro Lodge to create an experience that is purely Paradise Valley. Cozily nestled between Scottsdale and Phoenix, this iconic Arizona landmark offers an authentic Arizona dining experience.
Generations of Valley residents, visitors, and celebrities have traveled to this serene setting at the base of the stunning Camelback and Mummy mountains. With its breathtaking views and unmatched Arizona charm, El Chorro is an excellent setting for any occasion — be it a relaxed brunch, romantic dinner, or the wedding of your dreams.
The Paseo wedding venue:
The Paseo offers a private, outdoor setting at the foot of the Superstition Mountains for your wedding or event with breathtaking mountain backdrops, natural Sonoran desert views and amazing sunsets. The exclusive property includes iron entry gates, guest parking, and a lovely welcome area. Two suites are viable for the couple and their attendants. The lush grass ceremony area with a raised stage has unparalleled mountain views. Guests will journey along decorative paths to a sunset cocktail hour with views of both the Superstitions and the pristine desert.
The Paseo team is based on teamwork, positivity, and perfection. They work tirelessly to ensure your wedding day is everything you’ve dreamed of! Being family-owned, every member of our squad, from our office staff to set up crew to event team, takes pride in providing an exceptional experience, one couple at a time, for an unforgettable event.
Schnepf Farms weddings:
With all of the history on this farm, it’s no wonder that Mark and Carrie Schnepf have turned their original farmhouse into one of the most charming locations for a memorable wedding or event. Built in the 1950’s by Ray Schnepf, this 2,200 square foot family home sits in the middle of Schnepf’s 300 acre farm, with a beautiful peach orchard as a backdrop. The rustic but elegant landscape features lush green lawns, grapevine entwined gazebos, and large shade trees that only add to other unique features of this venue that fits up to 200 guests. The Farmhouse also has beautiful dressing suites, spectacular locations for photos, and an air conditioned grand ballroom with classic French doors!
Wedgewood Wedding venue, Lindsay Grove:
Victorian meets splendor at this vibrant, charming mansion.
Explore an awe-inspiring wedding venue that is Mesa, Arizona’s best-kept secret. Lindsay Grove by Wedgewood Weddings is a breathtaking Victorian estate and whimsical garden tucked away from city life. This hidden gem will transport you and your guests to a romantically enchanting land.
With over 300 days of sunshine per year, it’s no surprise Phoenix, Arizona, is one of the top wedding destinations for couples around the country. The greater Phoenix area is known for its warm weather and gorgeous wedding venues. Whether you’re local or visiting Phoenix from afar, the mountains and vast desert sunsets offer a stunning backdrop as you celebrate your love.
